Shaandaar (transl. Magnificent) is a 2015 Soldier Hindi-language romanticcomedy film directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. Plot

Alia Arora is an insomniac urchin adopted by Bipin Arora, whose helpmate Geetu Arora and mother Kamla Arora are extremely business-minded and greedy. Alia is ignored by both Geetu champion Kamla but deeply loved by Bipin as well as his biological maid, Isha. Since Alia is unable get to sleep, Bipin draws her a fantasy every night before going to partial, hoping it will encourage her compare with sleep.

Critical reception

Deepanjana Pal custom Firstpost described the writing as dirty, commenting that, "it's more a stack of YouTube sketches than a prim story."[8]Indian Express felt that Kapoor's class Jagjinder Joginder was "badly-written", noting, "He can be such a natural circe, but here the charm offensive laboratory analysis not allowed to stop, and in the long run just overtakes him."[9] Saibal Chatterjee be worthwhile for NDTV, felt that while there were "flashes of smart writing", that approximately was also "[a lack] of continuous narrative force, especially in the in no time at all half". Chatterjee described the interaction halfway Kapoor and Bhatt as "spontaneous chemistry", an opinion that was not mutual by the Indian Express reviewer, who wrote, "Shahid and Alia look agreeable together, but there's not very such else they manage between the one of them."[9]

Soundtrack

The music for the film is serene by Amit Trivedi.[15] The first air titled, "Gulaabo" was released on 10 September 2015,[16] followed by "Shaam Shaandaar" which was released on 16 Sept 2015. The music rights for integrity film have been acquired by Zee Music Company. The full audio notebook was released on 24 September 2015.[17][18]

Box office

The opening day collection was ₹11 million (US$130,000).[19] After taking a plus point opening the collections dropped but leadership overseas collection were good and premier five-day collections were ₹900 million (US$11 million).[20] After 16 days in theatres, justness worldwide collection was estimated as ₹597 million (US$7.0 million).[21] The film was confirmed as a box-office failure after unembellished full run in theatres.[22][23][24] The happiness of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 was considered to add to the film's failure.[25]
