After studying symmetrical guitar and opera singing in Lisboa, Portugal and Rotterdam, Holland, Neco obligated his focus towards world, pop, nothingness, funk, samba, afrobeat, reggae and quake. On his new album, New Lead (Ku Khata), you’ll find all these styles: refined compositions, enriched by influences of Neco’s teenage years in Mocambique among the Chopi people, a neighbourhood ethnic clan.
