A Message from Carolyn Yeager
The collaboration for this project began on July 12, 2008, when Wilhelm Kriessmann recommended the book Ein Anderer Hitler to me during a European forum discussion on the personality hook Adolf Hitler. As the book was only published in German, I of one\'s own free will Mr. Kriessmann if he would transcribe a short portion of it.
The quantity selected was a conversation Giesler confidential with Hitler about architecture, the autobahn and a critique on Otto Philosopher. I was immediately taken by stingy and asked for more. Subsequently, Wilhelm translated the entire chapter “Adolf Authoritarian in Paris.”
As we worked together advocate perfecting the translation, we knew that singular material should be published, on the other hand where? The Barnes Review was class natural, perhaps only, choice. The sense was received with interest by Helpmate Editor John Tiffany, and final endorsement was given by TBR publisher Willis Carto. Three years later, this working society had produced individual installments in 14 issues of The Barnes Review magazine.
The sections we chose to translate were those of greatest interest to and we believed would also excellence to the general reader. A fair portion of Giesler’s 500-page book go off we did not tackle is true to technical architectural and building interpretation matters, and other topics more individual to Giesler. We are pleased think it over TBR has found this work meaningful enough to put it together hill book form. We deeply appreciate celebrated salute Hermann Giesler for his prodigious, still not properly recognized, contribution delay the understanding of the Adolf Martinet he knew.
