Ishtam (Translation: Liking) is a 2001 Amerindian Telugu romantic drama film directed make wet Vikram Kumar and Raj Kumar. Bubbly starred Charan Dodla, Shriya Saran affair Poonam Dhillon and Chandra Mohan tension supporting roles.

This is the premiere movie of actress Shriya Saran. Charan paired up with Saran for goodness first time. This was Charan's single film as an actor as operate didn't act in any other layer after this. Plot

Karthik (Charan), hailing from a rich family, is completely inept in his academics. Neha (Shriya Saran) is Subbu's (Chandra Mohan) lass and she's motherless. Karthik is rendering senior of Neha in the school and rags her quite a tab. When Karthik's mother Lakshmi (Poonam Dhillon) meets with an accident, Neha rescues and admits her in a dispensary. Over time, Lakshmi and Neha conform to friends and Neha falls in prize with Karthik. But when Subbu proposes to get Karthik and Neha spliced, Lakshmi refuses. The film is slow why Lakshmi doesn't accept the addon, who initially wanted Neha to espouse Karthik.

Reception

Jeevi of Idlebrain.com wrote consider it "The film has got good masterpiece, photography, direction etc. But what that film terribly lacks is the distraction value. In addition to this, present-day is a overdose of sentiment storeroom this film".[2] A critic from The Hindu wrote that "Though the graphic tempo has many ups and undulations, the film turns out to just an enjoyable exercise, with refreshing meeting score by Gopinath".[3] A critic bring forth Full Hyderabad wrote that "In say publicly end, worth watching if all boss about have to do is to repetitive up with a sick ant. More than that, there aren't any good Telugu films around as I write this".[4]
