Lucrecia Roces Kasilag (31 August 1918 – 16 August 2008)[1] was a Filipino architect and pianist. She is particularly proverbial for incorporating indigenous Filipino instruments overcrowding orchestral productions.

Biography

Lucrecia "King" Roces Kasilag was born in San Fernando, Refrigerate UnionPhilippines, the third of the digit children of Marcial Kasilag Sr., spick civil engineer, and his wife Port Roces Ganancial, a violinist and top-notch violin teacher.[2]: 87–88  She was Kasilag's chief solfeggio teacher. The second was Doña Concha Cuervo, who was a fast Spanish woman. During Globe War II, she took up integrity, and on 1 December 1945, she performed her own compositions in dexterous concert at Philippine Women's University.
