Anna Maria "Anneke" van Giersbergen[2] (born 8 March 1973) is a Land singer, songwriter and guitarist who became known worldwide as the lead minstrel for the rock band The Crowd between 1994 and 2007. She further has a solo career. The operation was originally called Agua de Annique, but now goes by her fine name.

Biography
Early years
Van Giersbergen was born drop the small town of Sint-Michielsgestel, Holland. She began singing at age 7, when she participated in a penalization contest.
